What we are
In conjunction with FCAD, the Quincy Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival started in 2008 and is the best small town hot air balloon event in the Pacific Northwest.  The pilots that have participated since our first festival have commented on what a beautiful area this is.  Not only is Quincy a great town but the beauty and the open space makes this area a great place to fly.   This event will continue to grow in popularity and this is great for business and tourism.

Balloon Rides are sold only through Sponsorships.  They are reserved for sponsors and volunteers only.  All Balloon Events are weather permitting and at Pilots Discretion.

Sunrise Launches are Saturday and Sundayat sunrise (this is an amazing photo opportunity)
All launches are from Twin Firs Turf and are weather permitting.  Sunrise launches are free to the public.

Due to some unplanned weather conditions, not all of our fields are ready for harvest.  The event has grown in size largely because of the fireworks and our number one goal is to keep people safe while they enjoy all parts of the festival.   We will be holding the Saturday evening festivities in a field across from us, for the safety of our guests and spectators.  This field will not be grass as in the past, it will be a harvested bean field.  Please make sure to bring a chair or if you would like, bring a blanket or tarp.  We will have picnic tables out as well.  There will be no changes for the Saturday and Sunday morning sunrise launches.   Thank you all for being a part of celebrating those that feed us!
